FRY chopped onions and sweet pepper in a table spoon of vegetable or corn oil
Patiently let the onion brown for a great flavor
Add chopped red tomatoes to the mix. Fry till it softens
Add your chunks of leftover grilled or fried chicken (chicken aliya) to the mix
To make rice:
- Boil two cups of water for one cup of rice in a different pot
- Add a tablespoon of oil and salt to the boiling water
- Add the washed rice to the boiling water
- Lower the heat and let it cook for 7 to 11 minutes.
Serve your rice and chicken aliya to your heart’s content. Yummy!
