FRY chopped onions and sweet pepper in a table spoon of vegetable or corn oil

Patiently let the onion brown for a great flavor

Add chopped red tomatoes to the mix. Fry till it softens

Sprinkle your spices and salt


Add your chunks of leftover grilled or fried chicken (chicken aliya) to the mix

Add two cups of hot water and let it simmer till soft.

To make rice:

  • Boil two cups of water for one cup of rice in a different pot
  • Add a tablespoon of oil and salt to the boiling water
  • Add the washed rice to the boiling water
  • Lower the heat and let it cook for 7 to 11 minutes.


Serve your rice and chicken aliya to your heart’s content. Yummy!
